Licensing and Regulation

The game

Falling Pickaxe is a game developed by Pixmove Ltd.

The studio operates under Anjouan licence number ALSI-202410066-FI2. You can check it yourself in the official register:

Verify the licence in the Anjouan register ↗

We recommend doing so. Verifying a licence is the simplest way to tell a real provider from one that merely claims to be, and it does not require taking our word for it.

This site does not hold a gambling licence

fallingpickaxe.io does not need a gambling licence because it does not operate gambling. We do not accept bets, handle user funds or offer games. We are an information site.

The licences that matter are two, and neither is ours: the game developer's (above) and that of the operator where you choose to play.

The operator's licence

Every online casino operates under its own licence, separate from the game's. Before registering with any operator, check:

  • Which authority issued the licence, and its number
  • That the licence can be verified in the regulator's register
  • Which payment methods are accepted and what the withdrawal conditions are
  • What its responsible gaming policy says

That information is usually in the operator's footer. If you cannot find it, that is itself a data point.

Legality in your country

Online gambling regulation varies enormously between countries, and in some cases between regions within the same country. An international licence does not guarantee that gambling is legal where you are.

Checking the legality in your jurisdiction is your responsibility. We cannot advise on your particular situation.
